Twenty-four donors braved the snow and chilly weather to attend the blood drive hosted by Verber Family Dentistry this past weekend. One of Verber Dental’s fundamental missions is to give back to the community, so our office was thrilled to have this opportunity to provide such a meaningful gift.

The enormous “Bloodmobile” of the Central Penn Blood Bank rolled into Verber Dental’s freshly snow-plowed parking lot at 7:30 am on Saturday to be set up and ready for the 8 am early-bird donors.  Thanks to the cheerful, efficient CPBB staff, twenty-two pints of blood were collected over the course of the morning. Verber staff were on hand throughout the day to contribute and to rejuvenate donors with a variety of snacks and drinks.

January happens to be National Blood Donor Month. Thank you to all blood donors out there who have given this incredible gift! We would also like to extend a great thank-you to the generous individuals who donated their blood, time, and resources to make our drive a success. Verber Dental and the Central Penn Blood Bank are thrilled with the volume of this weekend’s donations which will help so many people in medical need.
